I raced karts and won the Eastern US Burris Championship race when I was young on a dirt track before I got hurt in a motorcycle race. Top speed around 50 or 60. Can you imagine laying back in this enduro kart going at speeds of 150 with no roll cage?

I74 That's wicked !! Guy I worked with years ago used to race twin engine 2 stroke carts back in the 60's. He said that they used to race them on regular speedways back then, & that you didn't want to look at the tires when going 120+ mph, because the tires were actually separating from the rims !! 2 years ago

Missed Approach flyfied was a go kart practice race track and we flew rc planes out of the infield. That is me in first pic and Beau in 999. Look how little! I think he was 5! - feeling amused

I found an old pic of me getting my trophy from Joe Wojek for winning the Quickee 500 race. Dad came in 2nd, and Beau got third. Congrats to Beau for beating a ton of older competitors! He actually beat everyone in the glider competition. Heck of a little
pilot!

Mike Wilson I liked the lettering on the green one! We must have had 20 or more quickees in the club back then! 3 years ago

Another nice model! Nothing better than hand built models. There are so many ARF's out there!
